STRUGGLING for something to do this bank holiday weekend?
Fear not, as we've compiled a list of seven things to keep all the family busy in the county, courtesy of local tourism website, Eat, Sleep, Live Herefordshire.
Leominster Fair - May 4 and 5
The Morris family has once again brought the fun to Leominster, with many rides to enjoy up to and including Sunday.
There are also plenty of stalls and a casino mint arcade. You can view a video of people having fun at the fair this year here.
Rossbeerfest - May 4 and 5
Rossbeerfest is a beer and cider festival in Ross-on-Wye. locally made beers and ciders will be showcased, while there will be a live band stage throughout the weekend and an inside food tent.
The event is organised by ross Rotary and Ross Lions, with funds going to charitable good causes.
Marches Makers Festival - May 4 to 6
An exciting arts festival will be taking place in Kington over the bank holiday weekend. This year, more than 40 artists will be exhibiting their work at St Mary's Church, with more exhibitions being held around the town. There will also be demonstrations, community participation events, live theatre and music.
Eastnor Castle Chilli Festival - May 5 and 6
Taking place on both Sunday and Monday, Eastnor Chilli Fest returns.
Brave foodies can immerse themselves in a world of chili-infused delights, with an extensive array of tantalizing food and beverages guaranteed to ignite their taste buds. Meanwhile, young culinary enthusiasts can unleash their creativity at the children’s cookery school, and aspiring chefs can refine their skills at captivating cookery demonstrations.
And no chili celebration would be complete without the legendary chili eating competition — the ultimate test of culinary courage.
There is also dance workshops and a pamper lounge for the little ones, while all of the castle's usual attractions will be open.
Hawkeye falconry at Hampton Court Castle - May 5 and 6
Experience the majestic nature of birds of prey, a treasured team of birds will be flying over Hampton Court Castle, near Leominster.
There are plenty of chances for you to be involved in the flying displays, as these thrilling birds fly over your heads at speed.
Between the displays, you will also be able to see the birds up close, while they are resting, allowing for many photo opportunities.
Big Apple Blossomtime Weekend - May 5 and 6
A special springtime opportunity will be held in the countryside and orchards of Marcle Ridge.
This is normally the peak of the blossom season so the trees can look spectacular.
The event takes place over two days in Putley and Aylton where visitors spend time around and under the apple trees.
Newton Court cider tour - May 6
On Bank Holiday Monday, you can join Newton Court Cider, near Leominster, for a tour between 1.15pm and 2.15pm.
Costing £25 per adult, the price includes a tour, tasting and a delicious ploughman's lunch.
As well as cider and perry to taste, Newton Court also makes its our own pressed apple juice – so whether you’re a tippler or a driver you can enjoy the event.
