SEVERAL roads in Hereford city centre will be closed this weekend.

This is to allow the traditional annual St George's Day scout parade to take place on Sunday (April 21).

The event will involve the closure of some roads and there will be traffic disruption between 2.15pm and 3pm, Herefordshire Council said.

St George's Day is next Tuesday (April 23), which is traditionally accepted as the date of the saint's death.
