TWO youths who were found by police throwing tiles from the roof of an Eardisland care home early this morning have been arrested.
The 14 and 15 year-old boys, who are both residents there, are believed to have caused around £15,000 worth of damage to the surrounding property and nearby cars.
Police, who were called out just after 2am, alerted fire and ambulance crews before the pair were coaxed down and officers arrested them at 7am after five hours of disruption.
The road outside was also closed to stop passing cars being affected.
Both boys were still in custody at 11am this morning while officers made their enquiries.
