Crop fire at Allensmore

FIRE crews and police were called to a county farm yesterday afternoon when around seven acres of crops went on fire.
Firefighters from Ross-on-Wye and Hereford spent almost an hour beating out corn that was alight at Coedmore Farm near Allensmore after the farmer called them at 2.05pm.
Emergency crews were unable to determine the cause.
