A MAN was arrested and a woman taken to hospital after a collision on a Hereford road at the weekend.
Police say the woman was struck by a green 4x4 vehicle while walking her dog in the Broomy Hill area at around 5pm last Saturday (July 19).
The 40-year-old woman received pelvic and internal injuries and is currently in a stable condition in Hereford County Hospital.
Police arrested a man in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Inspector Richard Rees at Hereford Police Station on 08457 444888.
